FLIGHTS

You will book your own flight tickets. Suggested connections:

- 24th May (Saturday): Ryanair Pisa-Kraków (19:20-21:15)

No need to purchase checked luggage, as your luggage, along with your bike, will be transported by our bus. We'll meet you at Pisa airport, and from there, we will take you to the base – airport transfers in Italy are included.

TRANSPORT

Two days before departure, we’ll pack your bikes and luggage into the bus at our Clubhouse on Puławska 134 in Warsaw. Similarly, after returning to Poland, we’ll organize the pickup of bikes and luggage. If you’re from another part of Poland, please mention it in the remarks when signing up, and we’ll try to arrange something.

ACCOMMODATION

We’ll be staying in charming agritourisms with a pool, typical for Tuscany. The base is equipped with a full kitchen and a pool for evening relaxation. Rooms are mostly double, maximum triple.

Since 8 days in one place might be a bit too much, the trip will be semi-stationary:

  • The first night is spent in Pisa.
  • The next 3 nights are near Poggibonsi.
  • The following 3 nights are under Montepulciano.
  • On the last night, we’ll move to Florence.

ROUTES

As always, the best with NGE. We’ve been to Tuscany many times, know the area, and we know what must be seen. We’ll go for ice cream in San Gimignano, definitely visit Siena, ride parts of classics like l’Eroica and Strade Bianche. We’ll climb to Pienza via the Gladiator Road, ride through the famous Val d’Orcia on the best white gravel roads. We’ll relax by Lake Trasimeno and enjoy wine in Chianti. In short, you won’t be disappointed. We recommend tires with a width of at least 40 mm (optimally around 45 mm).

We will split into two groups based on difficulty level:

- Group 1: average 80 km and 1200 m elevation gain per day.

- Group 2: average 100 km and 1800 m elevation gain per day.

Note: We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary below, without significantly affecting the distances and total elevation gains.
