WE'RE HEADING BACK TO GIRONA: VISIT THE GRAVEL GEM OF CATALONIA WITH US!

Girona – a picturesque town that many Instagram influencers and ex-pros call home. The gravel capital of Europe. A place where gravel, road, and MTB riders can meet in the same café. We may not be pros or influencers, but we know Girona and its surroundings really well.

We've visited four times already and know the area like locals. We have tested, fantastic routes and accommodations, so it would be a shame not to return to such a sure bet. Join us and experience Girona’s magical atmosphere for yourself!

All the photos on this page are from last year's edition of this very camp.

LOTY

You book your own flight tickets:

  • October 4th: Wizzair Warsaw-Barcelona (05:35-08:49 or 15:50-18:55)
  • October 12th: Wizzair Barcelona-Warsaw (09:20-12:25 or 19:40-22:45) You don’t need to purchase checked baggage, as we’ll transport your luggage and bike by van.

On the first day, we’ll pick you up from Barcelona airport, and on the last day, we’ll drop you off—no need to worry about transfers.

TRANSPORT

Two days before departure, we’ll load the bikes and luggage into the van at our Clubhouse in Warsaw (Puławska 134). After returning to Poland, we’ll organize bike and luggage pick-up in the same way. If you're from another part of Poland, let us know in the registration form, and we’ll try to arrange something.

ACCOMMODATION

A full week in one place is a bit too much, so we’ve split the trip into two bases:

- First 4 days: We’ll stay in a charming villa with a swimming pool, just a few kilometers from Girona. We’ll have the entire property to ourselves, including a spacious outdoor area. The villa is fully equipped with a kitchen, four bathrooms, a large living room, and a courtyard. Rooms are mostly twin occupancy. - Next 4 days: We’ll move to a renovated townhouse in the heart of Girona, right on Plaça de Catalunya. Our base will consist of two stylish apartments with a terrace. The apartments also include a kitchen. Rooms are twin occupancy, with an additional sofa bed in the living room.

ROUTES

There are too many beautiful gravel routes around Girona to ride them all in just one week. That’s why we’ve prepared a one-week package for you, featuring the absolute must-ride spots. You’ll experience amazing premium gravel roads and flowy singletracks, mixed with a touch of mountain gravel. Technically, the routes are not difficult, except for the occasional challenging sections. We recommend tires at least 40mm wide (45 mm would be perfect).

For the first three days, we’ll explore the areas to the west and north of Girona. We’ll climb to the top of Rocacorba, visit the medieval old town of Besalú, and enjoy a fantastic, scenic gravel descent to the Presa de Susqueda dam. We’ll have coffee by the lake in Banyoles and visit the official store at the nearby Haribo factory.

In the second part of the trip, after we switch bases, we’ll experience the true cycling playground that is the Les Gavarres mountains. This low mountain range, stretching above Girona, is crisscrossed with a dense network of beautiful gravel roads and singletracks. We’ll ride the iconic Els Angels climb, stop for lunch at the local Dos Kiwis Brewery, take a recovery ride to the coast at Sant Feliu, and visit famous cycling cafés: Espresso Mafia and La Fabrica.

We’ll split into two groups based on skill level:

- Group 1: average 50-90 km and 800-1600 m of elevation gain per day.

- Group 2: average 90-130 km and 1500-2400 m of elevation gain per day.

Note: We reserve the right to make changes to the schedule below that won’t significantly affect the distances and elevation gains.
