Don’t like the Eagles' Nests Trail?
Neither do we. Besides, you know we don’t do anything cliché. And if we do, we do it our way. That’s why we’ve prepared a custom route from Częstochowa to Kraków for you. We’ll ride through the entire Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, choosing all the best parts and avoiding the sand and long tarmac sections of the Eagles' Nests Trail.
The route lasts two days, and we’ll sleep halfway in a charming guesthouse with breakfast in Pilica. Our support vehicle will take care of transporting the luggage, so we’ll be riding light.
Sounds like a great weekend plan, right?

TRANSPORT
Getting to the meeting point is your own responsibility – the easiest way to reach Częstochowa is by car or train. For an additional fee of 130 PLN, we offer transport to and from Warsaw by NGE van (including your bike and luggage, of course). The van departs from Clubhouse on Puławska 134 on Saturday at 7:00 AM and returns on Sunday around 10:00 PM.
We meet on Saturday morning at the Częstochowa train station and head straight to the route.
ACCOMMODATION
We’ll be staying halfway, at the Pod Kolumnami guesthouse in Pilica. Rooms accommodate 2-4 people, each with its own bathroom. Breakfast is included. The guesthouse also has a great restaurant, which we’ll definitely enjoy in the evening.

THE ROUTE
We’re riding our custom route, developed based on our own experiences. The official Eagles' Nests Trail is full of both sandy sections and long asphalt stretches – we’ve made sure to avoid both while planning the route :)
Technically, the route is quite easy, with a 60/40% asphalt-to-gravel ratio. On the second day, we’ll encounter more climbs, as the terrain is a bit more hilly. However, they won’t be long or steep.
Note: We reserve the right to make changes to the schedule below, as long as they don’t significantly affect the distances and elevation gain.
Guides

Doma
Loves to pet doggies and eat jellies. Also rides all year round, regardless of the weather. Apparently, the only kind of cycling she does is romantic cycling. You won't find her at races or on a trainer. But don't get it wrong - she rides over a dozen thousand kilometers every year. The most emphatic part of NGE - always ready to help when needed, and won't leave you behind in the woods.

Patryk
Half human, half megaphone. The most socially active member of the team. Fueled by pizza and cookies. Regularly enjoys all aspects of cycling. Loves challenges, bikepacking, and occasionally takes on an ultra-marathon. When no one’s watching, he sneaks off to road group rides. Experienced in organizing and leading groups.

Damian
Powered by plants, a fan of steel frames and classic-looking bikes. Feels at home both leading group rides and riding solo, gathering new route ideas. Knowledgeable about photography, coffee, and the latest cycling trends. Can’t leave a dirty bike overnight.
